ABOUT US

Founded in 2020, At Home Alone (AHA) is an nonprofit serving Alabama’s youth. We cater to the youth that are victims of incarceration, those involved in the juvenile justice system and those at risk. We educate them about the law and their rights, give them positive mentorship and role models, and support them to become positive leaders among their peers and in their communities. Our passion has always been the combating of negative generational influences. Which creates a passing of the baton system that exemplifies irrational behaviors, mass incarceration, and high recidivism rates.

OUR WHY

Working with local law enforcement agencies At Home Alone is committed to the safety of our communities while decreasing the consequential effects of crime in our neighborhoods. Our vision is for a country where all kids grow up valued and supported. Replacing the path to prison with meaningful opportunities for them to live healthy, free, and productive lives.
